Pastor Van Delinder (more commonly referred to as “Pastor V.”) is our lead pastor. He oversees the administrative aspects of NHBC and his responsibilities include serving as our main preaching/teaching pastor. He led the effort which began North Hills Baptist Church in 2011.
In December of 2015 North Hills Baptist Church extended a call to Dan Wolsieffer to serve as Associate Pastor. Dan and Julie and their five children, Caleb, Bryce, Haley, Adam, and Aubrey moved to Round Rock in the summer of 2016 to join the team.
Dan was born and raised in South Carolina where he met Julie during his time in college where Dan majored in youth ministries as well as attended seminary. While growing up, Julie lived in Pennsylvania, Indiana and South Carolina. During the last nine years, their family has served at Harvest Baptist in Rock Hill, SC. (Harvest Baptist has been very involved in the planting of NHBC.) At Harvest they had the opportunity to lead the teen and music program as well as work with the young adults and the children’s ministry.
The Lord began burdening their hearts for church planting when they led a series of young adult mission trips with several church planters. About the same time that NHBC was being started, the Lord impressing upon them the need for churches and the value of team church planting. A year before coming to NHBC, the Lord directed them to Mentor, OH (Grace Church, Pastor Tim Potter) to participate in their Church Planting Internship Program where they prepared to serve in a church plant and taught in a Christian School in Mentor.
Their God-given desire is to encourage and enhance the church towards gospel growth. In particular, Dan focuses on the discipleship and student ministries of NHBC.
